By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea . . .
In 2018, I visited Clacton-on-Sea, a middle class beach resort town in the UK on the Essex coast. It seemed appropriate to do some street photography. I don’t care much for monuments or landscapes - I like to see and capture how people live in other corners of the world.
Havana, ooh na na . . .
I visited the country of Cuba and naturally experienced it in the way I know best - through my camera lens. Have a look at some street photography from my travels. And even better, consider visiting Cuba yourself. Travel broadens the mind!
DTLV: Street Photography Along Fremont Street
Street photography! Here are some scenes from Fremont Street in Las Vegas taken October 2021. I think Las Vegas is a good spot for black and white photography because it is so very colorful that the neo can be distracting.
Shoot the Street: Nashville - June 2021
Street photography provides good practice for working with distance and honing my reaction time. I went recently to Nashville, Tennessee with a friend to shoot the street. Enjoy some images from my walkabout.
On the Street: the 127 Yard Sale
No matter where I go, I want to take a picture. So while sweating through the 127 Yard Sale - billed as the world’s longest yard sale from Michigan to Alabama - I did more people watching than I did shopping. And probably had more fun. This is street photography, my favorite past time.
On the Sidewalks of New York
Street photography in New York City. It doesn’t get any better than this for me. I love my hometown - come see it with my eyes.
Street Portraiture in Old City
I crashed a photographer’s shootout in the Old City area of Knoxville and had the opportunity to do some street portraiture. Courtney was a beautiful model for this and got my creative flow going. Check it out.
