City Lights: Shelby and Austin's Proposal
And now for something completely different . . .
I am accustomed to being called upon to photograph marriage proposals in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that it was a welcome change to take care of one in downtown Knoxville. Austin and Shelby were on their way to visit Hilton Head Island but had planned to stop the night in their drive in our scruffy city.
Now, Knoxville is a town well suited to a sophisticated couple such as these two - urban and hip, and yet unpretentious. Austin is a resident with a specialization in cosmetic surgery and Shelby is an event planner. I told Austin that he would find Knoxville could offer them a lovely evening on the town, but first . . . a stroll in Worlds Fair Park.
To ask a question. A very important question.
