Wedding Album: Courtney and Brandon
Over the years I have tried different album companies for my wedding couples and I have found one where I can customize the albums - and the keepsake boxes that accompany them - so I can promise my couples that theirs is the only one of its kind in the world. That is a big difference from the standard 12”x12”-ivory-leather-cover-names-and-date-stamped-in-gold-foil that is seen so often.
The album above was customized for Courtney and Brandon. The box is done in a mocha leatherette, with their surname printed in white. If you look at dates, you will see if says “Established May 23, 2020” and then “Re-established August 29, 2020” - that is because they had a small, private ceremony in May during the height of the pandemic and then had a more formal and larger celebration in August.
The album has a solid wood cover, with a backing and spin to match the box. A tree and the couple’s names are laser engraved into the wood, giving the album a tactile sense - something you can touch and feel. The tree has meaning - in joining in marriage, the couple became a family along with Brandon’s young daughter, so the design honors that bond with a family tree.
Courtney and Brandon’s images are reproduced on premium archival paper and are displayed beautifully with vibrant colors.
I have to say, with the album and its keepsake box, it is a weighty keepsake! But it carries details that are unique to Courtney and Brandon, and it becomes its own work of art that they can display, knowing the box will protect the album. This is not just a wedding album - it is an heirloom!
