I was in Charleston, SC on assignment and took time to head down to Folly Beach.  A couple of kite surfers were enjoying the water and I started to photograph them.

One of them spotted me and acknowledged my camera, then took the time to come out of the water to say hello - and so I met Nick Ellyn, a local surfer, and a delightful person.

A camera can be a vehicle to meet people.  And when I get these serendipitous moments, I share my work with people, so they can enjoy the images.

Check out Nick in his gallery.

Life's a beach.  Enjoy the ride.
