Let It Snow - Maddie and Jonathan’s Proposal
What?
So far East Tennessee ahs seen two snow storms since 2022 rolled in and in both I had a marriage proposal to photograph.
And this latest one was a different challenge than the previous one, where the snow was wet and heavy. This snow was fluffy and dry . . . but “powder” such as this usually means much colder temperatures. And that was the case - when I got to the spot just before the appointed hour, my weather app said “20 degrees, feels like 9 degrees.”
Yikes!
But come on - when you have a couple in love, the warmth of that heats the mountains. And I was delighted for Maddie and Jonathan because they are from Birmingham, Alabama where this type of weather is rarely seen, so the snow just added to the magic of the moment.
