HOTlanta! Victoria and Dan's Engagement Shoot

Urban.  Sophisticated.  Classy.

This describes Victoria and Dan, so it was only fitting to have their engagement shoot in Atlanta, and specifically at the Ponce City Market.  It is a great spot - an old Sears warehouse and production plant, fashioned into a center of upscale shops and cafes.  As hip as, well, you can't say as hip as Victoria and Dan because they are more so,

And to think, Victoria was worried about this shoot.  Yeah, her with the gorgeous blond curls and kickin' figure, and Dan with his killer blue eyes . . . yeah, it wasn't going to work - not.

I am really looking forward to October, when I get to photograph these two at their Gatsby-themed wedding in a historic marble building in Knoxville.  But for now, Atlanta is their playground for this shoot.

But why stop there - nearby Piedmont Park also offered a great setting for a more casual look, while allowing Victoria and Dan a chance to wear their colors for the New England Patriots.

Please note:  I am a diehard New York Giants fan.  But I do anything for my clients.  Even put up with that team's fans.  Nah, nah, it's all good - we can still be friends in our mutual dislike of the Dallas Cowboys . . .

I really dug Atlanta.  Although I have been down there before I never got a chance to shoot down there and now I want to go back and explore more of the city.

And, of course, I am looking forward to shooting Victoria and Dan's wedding.  Expect the epic!
