Miss Riley

Miss Riley is one of my "regular" clients.  I started documenting her life with her Baptism into the Catholic Church and now we have a yearly date to create portraits for her.

Her parents apologized during our session:  "Sorry she is so active!"  That is not needing any apology - a toddler is always active and that just means the photographer has to be quick on her feet . . . or knees as the case might be.  Using a strobe in a studio setting helped by serving to "freeze" her in action.  Still, when working with a young child, their emotions and expressions change and shift in seconds, literally.  But I would rather have that - as a mom, I see it as a sign of an active mind.

They don't stay young.  Gotta catch them when you can before time changes everything.
