Mid-Winter Book & Album Sale
For me, February means avoiding bad weather and skunks.
Skunks because February is their mating season and they are all over the roads, looking for love in all the wrong places. The weather speaks for itself and if you live in East Tennessee as I do, you know during the winter months it cannot make up its mind - could be in the 60s, could be an ice storm, only predictable within a 12-hour window.
But let me make February a little brighter by holding my annual Mid-Winter Book and Album Sale - half price on selected books and albums!
I know life gets busy after you get married, and especially when children come along, and there could be that bride who always thought she would take the digitals from her wedding and make an album, and when that did not happen, saved the pictures for the firstborn’s baby book, and, well, time got away from her. Or the family who went and had a fabulous time at Destin and came home with a smartphone crammed with pictures and memories - but how can you relive them when they’re spread out over several smartphones? Or you have a shoebox filled with old photos, many of which include people you knew but your children never got to meet - how are the kids going to remember the family stories?
I am a big proponent of get printed what you don’t want to lose. I also appreciate quality which is why I use several resources when it comes time to make a book or album for my clients. I have seen some of the more popular outlets, from Shutterfly to Sam’s Club, and while these companies make a nice product, they are not what I consider “heirloom” quality. What’s more, you need to do all of the work. Imagine, then, if you could just hand over your pictures to someone who would design the layout for you, let you preview it and make changes, and then have it printed for you by a professional lab using archival inks and papers?
Here is your chance. Use it for . . .
A Mother’s Day gift. A coffee table book of your engagement session. A memory book of a loved one no longer with you. Because you love your dog and can’t get enough pictures of him. A unique signing book for your wedding. A history of your kitchen renovation you did yourself. Those saucy boudoir photos you had done. Your personal transformation story. The year in pictures for your church. A cook book with scanned pictures of Grandma’s handwritten recipes.
