Introducing the Gallery Box

When you see the images from a portrait session, do not be surprised if you fall in love with them all and want to revisit them time and time again.

One of the products I offer are my Gallery Boxes. I love them because they serve two purposes: holding the memories and displaying them. Let me explain . . .

My Gallery Boxes are sourced from a vendor in Ireland. Funny enough, they are crafted from solid Appalachian hardwood - actually, that is cool since part of the original Appalachian mountain range can be found in the north of Ireland, ladning there after the supercontinent Pangaea split some 200 million years ago! As they are made of solid wood, theya are ultra-sturdy with a display window made of tempered glass. How strong is that glass? See for yourself!

The Gallery Box is designed to hold matted prints that can be taken out, shared for vieing, set on an easel, or display one in the window of the box and set the box on a mantle, shelf, or desk. The window allows you to easily change the image displayed - pick a new one to feature as often as you like! You can be sure that your matted portraits will be safe and secure in the Gallery Box.

Just flip the box when you want to display a vertical portrait - the weight of the box keeps it secure sitting on a shelf or desk.

The Gallery Box can be purchased as an 8x10 box to hold 6x8 matted prints or as an 11x14 box to hold 8x10 matted prints. For each size, there are two capacities: 20 prints or 30 prints. The Gallery Box comes in a choice of black, white, or natural hardwood. The interior is lined with a soft velvet-like material and the workmanship on its construction is superb! When you hold one, you can feel its heft and now it is a long-lasting quality product.

But why just prints? My clients have used the Gallery Box to not only have those in it but items with meaning. As an example, favorite portraits from a senior session can be held along with the tassel from their graduation mortarboard and program from the ceremony. For baby’s first birthday maybe it is the hospital bracelet worn when they were born or a lock of their hair. Can it hold an urn with the ashes of a beloved pet gone from your company? Of course. And yes, you can buy a box without prints if this is something you want to use for your own project.

But wait - there’s more!

Your Gallery Box includes the digital file of the portrait you selected for it. They come to you via a personal online gallery that is also a cloud app for your iPhone or Android, so you can keep your pictures close to you and easily download them and share them with others (you can even PIN protect them so that others can view but not download). The app can also be accessed at your desktop as well. Click the button below to see an example.
