Oh, Babies! Welcome to the World, Tulio and Thalia!
Some babies make their entrance into the world in a big way.
These two - Thalia Annette and Tulio Giuseppe - did just that: despite Mom’s pregnancy being at 38 weeks. Tulio arrived first at 7 lbs., 14 oz. and Thalia followed at 6 lbs., 12 oz.
And then Mom slapped Dad.
No, that did not happen, of course not! Actually, these two have the good fortune to be born into a loving and faith-filled family, joining their three older siblings. In fact, Mom requested a specific image be made that she calls “The Fruits of Marriage” and it is lovely:
We were able to photograph the babies safely at their home. This was a lot easier on the sleep-deprived parents - the twins were less than a week old - and it made for a homier arrangement. Many thanks to the grandparents for hosting older siblings during this!
Sometimes the best images are those of the babies interacting with Mom and Dad. Babies have their own schedule - if they say, “Okay, you get ONE SHOT on the posing bag and then it’s party time,” guess what? It’s party time!
Whatever a baby’s mood might be, who cares? They’re soft, they’re squishy - and they’re beautiful! Newborn photography is a joy to create and I am grateful to Mom and Dad for allowing me to do this for them!
Welcome, Thalia and Tulio! Glad you’ve joined us here on this third rock from the sun!
Isn’t this brother and sister duo a pair of firecrackers? If you’re expecting and are interested in having your newborns photographed, give me a shout!
